I can't send a personal message - Facebook Toolbar

Your message to that one person does not go through because he/ she blocked your message or his/her phone is the problem. You can't do anything until that person configures his/her phone to allow your message to go through.

The specific person must be in your blocked list. Go to contacts and click unblock.

Skype keeps the messages on its servers until the person logs in and reads them. If you want to send other types of messages use an email client. Even if emails are delivered to an email address, they will not be read until the person logs in.

Erase the profile name and all other details of that person and create a new one. So make sure you copy it first in a paper before deleting it. After creating a new profile for that person, try to send him/her a message again.

Update me if that will work or not. If it doesn't work we will try a different method.

You actually have 2 options to do so:

1)Go to your inbox, click on compose message, type in who you want to send it to, and write your message and click send!

2)Click on the profile of the person that you want to send the message to. On the left side, there are options listed (right after the profile picture), you would need to click on, send a message, afterwards a pop up box will appear wherein you would need to type in the message. Once you're done, click send.

To send a message just do this:
If the person you want to message is already added to your YM, just double click on the contact name and a pop out screen will appear then type in automatically your message then press enter. That means it was sent already.
If the person is not listed on your contact 1.Click ACTIONS on the messenger menu 2.on the drop down menu under ACTIONS click SEND INSTANT MESSAGE 3.Click OTHER CONTACT and type inside the box the messenger ID of the person you want to send a message with then click OK 4.type in your message then click SEND or just press ENTER

I am assuming that this person is already on your friends list.
You can email (more private) by clicking on the second icon after the logo on the top right (when you mouse over it says "messages"). Click on "send a new message" link. A modal will open. Enter the name of the person and enter your message.
You can also go to this person's profile and write on his/her wall (field on top of the center column) and click share when done (please note that this will be a public message). Or click under their profile picture the link: Send 'name' a message.

Check in your sent folder and look at the envelope next to the message. Each envelope has a check box at the top right corner.

<>If the person you are sending the message to also has Verizon:
-If it was received by the other person, the box will be checked.
-If it has an arrow next to it, it's still in the process of being sent; possibly because the intended recipient is out of service.
-If you click on the sent message and scroll down to the bottom, it will tell you what time the other person received it at.

<>If the person doesn't have Verizon, all the messages you send (regardless of whether or not they were delivered) will have an arrow in the box and it will not tell you what time the person received the message at.

Sometimes, a message will have an I in the box. I think it stands for Incomplete; this only happens to me when I send a message to more than one person and the message doesn't get delivered for some reason.

Copy and paste into a new message.
Put your finger on the message you would like to forward. Select copy. Open a new message window. Choose the person or persons you want to send the message to. Place your finger where you enter the text and choose paste. Then send.
