I have pokemon platinum and am using an Action Replay with it. All of a sudden, my wifi stopped working. everything on the router is plugged in, its registered on my ds, it will conect for about 1 second then show a connection error message. could it be a faulty code for the AR? thx.

Usually, yes, it's a coding goof. cheat devices can crash consoles and peripherals. if it was a hand entered code, rather than an "on the software", one error will render it useless. also, some codes, when activated clash with each other and crash. try using a minimum of codes, or onr at a time, and see if that works.

You need to go to a store like Wal-mart, and go to the videogame/electronic aisle, and buy the Action replay. If you use it and it doesnt have Pokemon Platinum game cheats, then use the usb connector and the action replay disk to download more, or you can google the cheats and manually enter them on the action replay.
u dont have to have wifi you only need a action replay my friend gets the mystery gifts all the time useing it he dosent have wifi, i do not have a ds but i do know about them and how to manage them and i know all about pokemon pearl,diamond,platinum
k you know how its on the list of games what you need to do:
1:put your game in
2:if you look in the bottom left corner its got a code copy it
3:look for your game in the list
4:put the indicator on it but dont select it
5:instead of selecting it hit the pencil sighn on the touch screen
6:then it should show up like how you input ar codes . since its already got the name in it press next
7:erase the code thats already set in and change it to the one you copied down then svae changes and your done
It seems as though you don't have pokemon platinum on the code list. Add it from action replay code manager and add the codes. (first get the master code of what version of pokemon platinum you have)
That's Easy. There's A master code you have to enter for the Game in your Action Replay.
Go to Pokemon Platinum on The Games List of Your Action Replay.
Then Click the Edit Button, But DO NOT change the Name. Just Click Next.
Next It will Ask You to Enter New Game Id.
Enter This Code: CPUE-3811DEF6
Then Click Next.
Now you Should be Able to use your Action Replay for Pokemon Platinum.
