I just want to be able to enlarge my print size

  • Simply press and hold down the "control" key, while pressing the "plus sign" key. Be sure to keep the "control key" depressed while you press the "plus sign" key. Each repetition will enlarge the text. This can make reading small text SO much easier!
  • To return the text back to its original size (being polite to the next user), simply press, and hold down the "control" key and the "minus sign" key. Each repetition will decrease the text size

  • Log on to your computer and open the document you want to print. Click on the "Print Preview" button on the toolbar.
  • 2 Click on the "File" menu and choose "Print Preview" from the drop-down list if the "Print Preview" button is not available. The "Print Preview" function will show you exactly what the finished print will look like.
  • 3 Click the "Close" button to close the Print Preview window, then highlight the entire document and click on the "Format" menu. Choose "Font" from the drop-down list and change the font.
  • 4 Click the "Print Preview" button again to see the finished print. Continue to adjust the font size until the print looks good

HP P3015 suddenly printing very slowly - about a page a minute

If you unplug the cable from the printer to the PC and print the MENU MAP, does it print slow or at normal speed?
If it prints slow, try following the directions below.
If it prints at normal speed, try removing the printer from the print queue and reinstalling it. Also, download the PCL5 drivers and reinstall it.
    Good Luck.

Print a MENU MAP and a CONFIG page.
You will need this info to put the settings back in the printer.
    1. Turn the device off.
    2. Turn the device on. When the memory count begins, press and hold the CHECK MARK button. Continue holding
down this button until all three device control-panel lights flash once and then remain on. This
might take up to 10 seconds.
    3. After the message SELECT LANGUAGE appears on the display, press the ^ button
    until COLD RESET is highlighted.
    4. Press CHECK MARK . The device performs a cold reset and then continues its power-on sequence.
    5. Check all I/O settings and reset any customer-set device configuration values.

COLD RESET sets ALL control panel menu items, including network settings back to factory defaults.
This is where the MENU MAP and CONFIG info come into play.

    Zebra 2824 red light

Hold the feed button while turning on the printer. After a config label prints, turn the printer off and then on again, and try printing again.

Also, make sure the lid is closed far enough to engage the lid sensor. If the red light comes on again, press down a bit on the lid, hit the feed button and try to print again.
