Question about Canon LIDE20 Flatbed Scanner
A year ago I installed a CanoScan LiDE 25 Flatbed Scanner for my 81 year old Mother, recently she decided to become more adventurous and 'play' with some of the tool options - result chaos!! Being overseas, I've tried, unsuccesfully in talking her through the processes - the problem being that I can't see what she has on her screen. Can anybody advise me how to do the following and I can then pass the info onto her.
1. When using the scan to e mail button the resultant image is over sized - where is the image sizer.
2. At what point and where can the scanned document be named, I'm assured that this facility has 'dissappeared' from the screen and every oversized document now has the same name!!
3. Where is the option to store the scanned documents in a file of choice? At the moment they're all going into My Pictures and we'd like to change that to My Documents.
You can help her by turning on the "Remote Assistance" in Windows XP...this will allow you to control her mouse and computer from anywhere in the world
