I recently purchased a Pure Wash system which I want to use. I connected the cold water input to the Pure Wash, closed the hot water valve, and set the temp select to Cold / Cold. In the beginning of the wash cycle the washer stops with an "HF" indicator, a water flow error. It seems the ATC in the washer is trying to input hot water to get the temperature above 77 degrees. My guess is that without the water flow from the hot water, it gets the HF error. Since I want to use the Pure Wash without any detergent and it needs only treated cold water, can I join the hot water to the cold water output from the Pure Wash and let the ATC never achieve the temperature it desires? Will the machine fault if it never achieves the 77 degree temp?
One of the things to try is get a Y connector for the machine. Hook both ends of the Y to the washer at the hot and cold, then connect the last part to the pure wash. The HF error is HOT FLOW so it is not seeing any hot water pressure. The actual temperature should not be an issue. Also if you have too much water pressure you wont see the bubbles. If that happens just start turning down the cold water valve on the connection to the pure water unit until you see bubbles in the viewing window. I ams sceptical about these machines because you have to reduce the surface tension of water in order for it to clean, that is partly the job of heated water and laundry soap. Also if there is an ozone generator in that unit, there is a consumable part because ozone needs electrolysis to be generated. I cant help but wonder where the hydrogen goes when it is generated.
Thank you for your suggestion for the Y connector. I have implemented that configuration and it works just fine. I have had smelly clothes coming from my front loading machine for years and it finally smells wonderful. Don't know about the hydrogen but I love the results.
You should know that there is a class action lawsuit filed because of mold and mildew problems with front loading machines. It went to the supreme court yesterday, the manufacturers were trying to block class action status and the supreme court said no, that it could stand. Anyway watch the performance of the machine when all the residual soap wears off and see if it still performs.

SOURCE: no water enters on rinse cycle
I was partially wrong on my diagnosis. No cold water enters on either the wash or the rinse cycles. I also heard odd noises from the inlet valves. I realized the cold water valve was not opening. I've ordered the mixing valve and plan to replace it as soon as it comes in.

washer may not be detecting water temp but water flow ..if you never use hot water may try hooking cold water to a Y-connector and then hooking to both hot and cold inlet valves ..however it is also possible washer is detecting inlet temps in which case you're out of luck ..i suspect the latter

It sounds like you have the hot and cold water lines to the washer reversed. Try turning off the tap for the hot water then setting the washer to just cold wash and then hot washif you get nothing on the cold and cold water when set to hot they are probably reversed. Typically if the auto-temp control is broken you will only get hot or cold coming out on any setting.

STOP ! You do not need a new water level switch. You need a new water inlet valve. (the part the inlet hoses screw onto)
