if the board does not have jp854 top left of the power board 2 inch down it's not the same power board as the quick fix. also it's not really a quick fix, you need to replace the voltage regulator on the heat disperser, right pin on the 3 pins is the controller for the voltage when the chip wares out it cannot regulate the correct voltage so the voltage goes up and down causing the flicker, on the quick fix its just cutting this connection off so the regulator is working at no adjustable voltage.

If your LCD TV or monitor has stopped working, or is displaying one of the following symptoms, then it's a candidate for some new capacitors
- Flickering screen
- Screen image disappears after several seconds
- Dim screen
- Slow start
- Power LED on, but no picture
- Unusual colors and/or lines
The primary cause of LCD TV and monitor failure is caused by faulty capacitors. You can examine the capacitors in your LCD TV or monitor and actually see if they are bad.
If they appear bulged on top, then they need to be replaced.
New capacitors will solve a host of problems in LCD monitors and TV's and will extend the life of your monitor or TV by several years.
Check the cables, connectors and connections.
Take it to a repair shop.
If so try unplugging the HDMI cable and re plugging the cable in, sometimes those cables work loose and if they are not tight, it will cause your screen to flicker. Happens to my TV once in awhile.
I had a TV do that about a year ago, the repair man said it was the color wheel inside the tv. I changed the bulb to see if he was BS'ng me and eventually got the manufacturer to send a color wheel and I change it myself, was very easy...TV works fine ever since. Hope this helps

If the lamp replacement light comes on, surely there will be issue with the lamps; and should be replaced. But the flikereing of colurs will have an other probelm with video card. Chroma section may be some fault with it. Just check the antena if your are using and seeing on-air programme. If you are using cable, check the socket ottection at the backe of the tv for firmness. If connections have some loose contact, or not well tight up, colour flikering will occur. If all the connections are OK and just replace the lamps and see the effect. If this does not help you , replace the chroma card. Consult nearest philips service center for replacement. For lams alos, replace it with original ones from Philips. OK.
Its not auto adjusting because of the flickering. Its flickering because the screen itself is losing voltage so it cant stay on. You can try hooking up the monitor to another computer just to rule out a bad video card but it looks like replacing the LCD is the only solution.
