It sounds like your coils are froze up or at least your thermostat says they are. If they are froze and the thermostat is functional, then your defrost heater is probably open and needs replaced.
To get proper cool, keep the tips as follows: 1. Check air filter is cleaned. 2. Check indoor coil is cleaned. 3. Checkindoor blower motor is working. 4. Keep in cool mode. 5. Set temp minimum 3degrees less than room temp.6.Check compressor is working with correctpressure. Thanks. Helpful?
Hello Check the wite connections again with a flashlight and see if a wire end broke or is loose.Check the curcit breaker panel box to see if they are all on.How did you turn off power to work on the lamp?The problem is there ,some units require 220volts power.The unit will use the breaker for protection,Did something short out(sparks) at the fixture?
