You need to install the software then connect the scanner & open the software. Put the paper in scanner & then click scan option in software for scanning. Select before scanning your choice. Jpeg /PDF format u want.
see the printer is connected to the computer, printer is powered on, & the document u want to scan is layed upside down in scanner. then open "paint" software & go to "from scanner or camera". follow the instructions on screen & finally save the image in required format which u will see in save window bottom side (drop down menu).
Position the first page of your document on
the flatbed scanner and close the lid.
In Adobe Acrobat, under the File menu, choose "Create PDF",
then "From Scanner" and then "Custom Scan."
In the Scan dialog box, choose your configuration settings.
This will vary based on the nature of the document you wish to scan
(e.g. color or black & white, images or text).
When the scanning process is complete, Acrobat will ask you
if you wish to scan more pages into the file. If you do, position the
next page on the flatbed scanner and click "Scan More Pages." Otherwise,
click "Scan Is Complete."
Repeat the above steps as necessary to scan a multi-page
As with most scanners, place the document in the scanner for scanning. Open the software that you wish to use. Select "File" from the menu and then "Import". Your scanner interface listing should appear. Click on the device to begin your import from your scanner. Your scanner should scan the document and it will appear in your application. Be advised, Scanners scan in a Graphic format. To edit in a wordprocessor you will need some kind of OCR (Optical Character Recognition) Software to convert the graphics into a wordable form for editing.
You can try use an OCR program. Sometimes it is included/bundled in the software/drivers/application CD that came with your scanner. You can also google for freeware versions.
OCR (Optical Character Recognition) will recognize the text from the scanned document, you can copy/paste and thereafter edit.
