How do I reattach/replace the belt that causes the Hotpoint Ultima WF860 to spin?

First you need to know the problem if it is a belt or even a motor if thats the case its just nuts &screws electrical? most times your better of getting a pro in there.

Check the motor and the belt on the back of the unit behind the rear plate. Make sure that the belt is attached and the motor is spinning. If this helped please rate. Thank you

Good luck. All modern washers that I know dont have the filter you need. If a clean out is needed you will have to clean out the pump.

check your belt if not that it will be yhe bushes on the motor they might need replaced or a faulty motor

The belt goes around the drum and onto the motor pulley. No need to loosen anything. Put tension on the belt and fit it onto the motor pulley by gently turning the motor and pushing the belt onto the pulley at the same time.

I read that someone has a problem with F-03 on the display. I have seen this for the first time on my hotpoint wf860 1600 spin. I read the manual the only thing I can think of maybe an unbalanced load in the machine. Albeit the manual is not clear about this. P21 automatic features unbalanced load warning.
