Webcam fusion software download - Logitech QuickCam Fusion Webcam

There should be no problem with this - a couple of points worth noting
1) you will need to download DirectX to support your cam
2) If the laptop has a built-in webcam this will have to be disabled in your Device Manager Imaging folder - Expand the folder and right click on the webcam text for menu.
3) The latest webcam software can be downloaded from the website

Browse the photo gallery and click on your webcam

Webcam software is notorious for remaining hooked up on old programs it was used in - even if you have exited the program correctly. You have to reboot the software by unplugging the camera for a few seconds from the USB

Uninstall the webcam software
Unplug the webcam
Restart computer
Visit logitech Website, identify your cam and download the software

When software has downloaded launch the Logitech toolbar and run through the options from top to bottom

You do not say what option is missing - video effects ? click on the 2 theatre masks on the toolbar to access them

Disconnect webcam
Uninstall existing webcam software
Restart computer
download software

Normal 0 Try disconnecting the Camera from the USB port and reinstall the CD or Downloaded software program. When the program asks you to connect the camera to the USB port, do so and it should work.

The quickcam software is about 5-7mb, the fusion is about 11-15mb.

Fusion for Vista supports 30 frames per second (4X faster than a quick cam)

goto this link and download upgrades etc, choose the OS etc.

go to logitechs home site and look for updates for software and drivers. messenger will work with just about anything but your software is another issue

You can download the drivers and software from Logitech's website.

NOTE: Make sure that you select the correct operating system from the first drop-down menu before you click "Download Software".

You will want to choose "Multilingual 32-bit" from the second drop-down menu.

When you have selected your options, you may proceed by clicking the "Download Software" button. This will bring up the usual download dialogue in your browser. You can choose to either save the file to your hard drive for later use or you can go ahead and let your browser open the software automatically after the download is completed.

Follow the instructions given to you by the software to install and you shouldn't have any problems. I recommend unplugging the webcam before you install the software as the software may instruct you to do so anyway. Either way it will instruct you to plug it in at some point during the software I'm sure.
