Hi I have a Soniq tv (model number: E24Z10A) and a LG blu-raywith built in HDD and HD tuner (model number: HR825T). I also only have an indoor antennna that i hook in. Problem: i have never been able to tune in tv on its own. the auto tuning brings up minimal channels and when it does the channels cant be watched because they are poor quality (flicker like static). 2 days ago i hooked in the LG dvd player. I found a single antenna cord and put one end into the LG player Antenna (Out to TV) and put the other end into the tv. I then put the indoor antenna lead into the LG player Antenna IN slot. other connections i have are a HDMI cable into the dvd player from the tv and the red yellow and white cable. I then went into HDMI setting on my tv to access the LG player and i clicked on auto tuning to see if i could find any more channels. I found 27 DTV and a few radio and they were all of BRILLIANT QUALITY. Yesterday, i hooked a nintendo up to the LG player and TV to see if it still worked. I took the antennas out of the back of dvd player and put in an RF switch and the antennas in that (as it was a part of my nintendo). I had to tune it ATV manually on the TV setting not the LG player settings. When i did this is i kept flicking around settings trying to find the game (I am unsure what i changed but i definately hit 'storage to 1' (which goes from 1 to 100, it is now set on 1 again), 'system BG' (not sure what to put it on but it issystem BG, System I, System DK), 'current ch 1' (goes from 1 to 100, its set to 1 now)i also hit search which goes through different freqs and i also hit fine tune but not sure what happened. :/ eeeek i eventually found the nintendo which was awesome BUT i have now lost all of my channels!!! :( When i removed the nintendo and put the antennas back in the same place i tried two things: 1. retuning tv - set to DTV - Auto tune - comes up with 15 channels, all digital ones are poor quality and flicker with signal 2. retuning using LG player - it comes up with 69 MUX channels??? what the heck is MUX? - it comes up with about 15 DTV channels - it comes up with 5 radio channels. Do you know how i can fix this to go back to what i had? I am defs not technology minded and do not know any lingo soooo if anyone could give me an accurate step by step breakdown of what to do (aka what settings should be on) then that would be awesome! otherwise i can try an go find a technical person to fix it lol Thanks guys!

You do not need to use an RF modulator if you have a LG DR787T. It will output the program on channel 3 or channel 4. If you have another recording machine, I think you may need to re-scan for the stations.
It is also possible that you need to use the remote to switch from the analog (66 only?) stations to the digital stations.
If using a 787, press HOME, select TV & press ENTER, the channel list menu appears. With the highlight on the top of the list, use the < and > arrow keys to select from: TV, DTV, Favorite, or ALL. This lets your pick whether you want to see digital, analog, favorites with the "HEAR" symbol, or all stations.

THIBSRUS:
I think that there is a selection on the Panny that works much like the TV/VCR selection on a videotape recorder. Your machine is receiving and decoding digital stations, as you stated you can see them on the menu screen, but is not passing them through to your TV set for viewing. To use the Panny as a tuner for live TV shows, or actually, programs currently airing, you have to tune the TV to channel 3 or 4, or, if using the Red/White/Yellow connectors, the proper video input selection, AND turn the Panasonic on, and have it sending the programs it is receiving out on the antenna connection or the video/audio out (RWYellow) connections. It is really a matter of selecting, on the Panasonic, whether it passes through the antenna signals, or the digital signals that is is receiving.

You have probably found out now that you would need to get your digital reception by connecting a set top box to the LG, say to AV1, then select AV1 when making a recording.
