The Rapid Isaberg 16 stapler uses 26/6 size staples. These staples are also commonly referred to as "standard staples" and are widely available at most office supply stores or online retailers. They measure approximately 6mm wide and 11mm in length, and are compatible with a wide range of staplers, including the Rapid Isaberg 16. Be sure to use high-quality staples to ensure that your stapler functions properly and staples securely.
The staples are probley getting jammed due to the parts where they are expelled not lining up. Sorry have never pulled one apart so not sure how to fix it.
This is a rather rare request, as very few places fix staplers.
I should recommend you find a "handy-man", maybe an older person with a hobby, and he may be able to help you.
I fix staplers, but have only been successful about 50% of the time.
God bless your efforts.
are you using the correct size of staple?? (thickness wise) secondly check the spring is pushing as it should, also a fix to get it working is as you put the staple stack into the stapler, seperate them and see if will staple. other than that it's defective and you should purchase a new one.
To fix the Staple's One Touch Stapler, you must pull the stapler open so it's at a straight angle. Then look at the picture on the bottom of the stapler. Its' saying to pull out the black click thing and then (here's the tricky part) put the staples into the body of the stapler, not the part you just pulled out. I always have to relearn that. My learning curve is getting slightly better, though.
Swingline heavy duty staplers provide the power to staple up to 120 pages of 20-lb. paper easily and consistently. The all-metal construction of these staplers makes them an indispensible office tool. However, the way to load staples into a Swingline heavy duty stapler differs from the method for loading most other manual staplers and can cause a little confusion.
Difficulty:Easy
Instructions
1
Remove the follow block at the
back of the stapler by pushing the mechanism in, lifting the block up
over the holding hooks and sliding it out from the stapler. The follow
block is the spring-loaded mechanism that holds the staples in place
within the stapler.
2
Load the heavy-duty staples into the staple tray.
3
Replace the follow block by inserting it back into the stapler and locking it into place over the holding hooks.
You need to open the stapler from the back. Push the black piece at the back of the stapler in, then pull it up and out. Remove the jammed staples, and reinstall. Make sure you use the correct staple . It appears to be: SWINGLINE 35550 HIGH CAPACITY STAPLES, 3/8"
