HP Photosmart C4180 message "Scanner

Try resetting the printer:
Reset the printer
-Disconnect the Universal Serial Bus (USB) cable from the back of the printer, but leave the printer turned on.
-Open the cover of the printer and remove the print cartridges.
-Close the cover and wait for the Insert Ink Cartridges message.
-Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer and wait for one minute.
-Reconnect the power cord. If the printer does not automatically turn on, press the Power button.
-Open the cover and reinsert the print cartridges.
-Close the cover. If prompted, print a calibration page.
-Reconnect the USB cable, and try to print a print job from the computer.
Hope that helps!

Hp c6180 will not print from windows vista; no error message displayed on computer or printer; print queue says error printing with no explanation wireless installation hp solution center says no hp...

This means that your system does not display any printer name under the printer's list even though you would have installed your wireless printer on your Windows Vista system. This could be caused if you have not updated printer drivers in your system or the printer is incompatible with Windows Vista. Also see if the Windows firewall is blocking the printer from being recognized by your system. get more information for HP Wireless Printer Problems . Hope this helps you.

Can't scan from HP psc 2400 to iMac computer

You need to set up the software on the iMac. The reason it gives you that error message is because it can't communicate with the computer and imaging software as the computer doesn't see the scanner and can't communicate with the printer's control interface. The iMac may see the printer and be able to print without any additional software because the driver package for the printer portion may already be installed with the OS X HP printer driver support. You didn't mention whether or not you could print from OS X. I am assuming you can. Faxing and copying from the unit doesn't use the computer at all and doesn't need to communicate with it. Scanning and printing do. If you can't print either then none of the driver or support software is installed and you have to set it up. You can get the instructions for setting the printer up in OS X 10.5 from HP. Just click here and it will take you to the page with the instructions.

Best wishes and cheers
