Pr5020 power light flashes 5 times and then ready flashes 5 times

switch off you printer. pull out power cord from source, wait for 5 minutes then plug in back the power cord to the source and switch back ON your printer

replace the projector bulb

Unfortunately that is 2 different errors... One being easily fixed. The 5 blinking power LED means its time to replace the Lamp, thats the easiest one to fix.

The blinking ready light means a "Fan 3 error". There is no reference on what that could be. It could be as simple as cleaning the air filter, or as complicated as replacing one of the fan units. You will need to contact Vivitek to know for sure:

The standby light blinks 5 times

i also have the same problem with the flashing green light for a while then a different red light starts blinking on and off around 5 times....and i replaced my burnt bulb with a new one...still no picture.

5 red flashes on your Sony indicates the power supply for lamp is not working .Or 5 pin harness to it is not seated properly.Possibly needs replacement..
