You may need a different remote. Is this a universal remote? Some of them have these common problems. Mine, for instance, doesn't use the OK button at all; instead, the Menu button counts as the OK button.
Try navigating the menu with the TV's volume / channel buttons (the ones on the TV itself, not on the remote). This usually works. Try that until you get a different remote.
With the remote in TV mode, the input button on the remote should change the source (TV, AV1, etc. depending on the TV).
If the input button doesn't work, try a different code for your TV manufacturer. A code that controls the basic functions of the remote may not control the full set of functions of the TV. For some TVs, you can change the source from within the Menu. (It depends on the TV. I didn't notice if there was a Menu button that will open the TV menu on the RCA RCU600M.)
If none of the codes work, check if your TV has a Source or Input button on the unit. See if that button works.
If you have a different remote, please indicate the model.
You can't chage it with your Direct TV remote control. If there is menu button in front of the tv, just go through the menu, and see the vedio options. From there you can change the input selection. If there is no menu button, you can't do anything without the help of remote control handset.
Hi,
I'm sure you know you need the original remote if there is no menu on the front of the set. I suggest doing a search for customer support online for Sanyo products. There you will find contact numbers to see if one is available. Try "Sanyo remotes" on Google or Yahoo etc. Hope this helps
