Question about Whirlpool Cabrio WTW6600SBT Top Load Washer
Washer stoped in middle of (looks like spin&driin )so hit start door locks, but dont start and buzz'es and have to unplug to get the buzzing to stop and trun off.plug in hit power . hit start door locks and buzz'es while the door and start buttons flash..
Possible unbalanced load in the washer. I have found this to be the case in other types of top load washers. Just redistribute the load the try again. If this works, washer is doing what it needs to do to keep from spinning madly out of control and extending its life!

fl is the code for a pump takind too long to drain. you have the buzzing so hopefull it is just clogged with small sock or debris from a yarn type item. to access pump (there are two types) unplug washer if you can bring it outside as this can hold lots of water. if not have a large wet vac handy. tilt washer 45 degrees to access bottom panel . remove three 5/16 screws, remove panel. the pump has one beige hose, one black. unclip or remove 4 torx screws depending on the type pump. clear pump. re-assemble. if indoors very important to slowly remove beige hose while running vacuum if not several gals of water will rush out. if this is a pump with the grey housing and it occurs immediately you have probably stripped the pump shaft and will have to replace it with the newre style pump. which will be the same procedure just one more step. the pump retails about 88 dollars. good luck

ck to see if any water in drum if so possible pump clogged ..remove bottom panel pump will have clean out port with large knob turn counterclockwise ..expect flood if water inside but can't be helped if washer is on pedistal open drawer and try setting bucket underneath and have towels handy..after cleaning reinstall port cover and try again..if no water in tub try unplugging hold power button down 20-30 secs and reconnect still have problem door can be unlocked by removing bottom panel and pulling small tab just below lock assembly from underneath

it's most likely your timer....u can get the machine to spin out your clothes by pushing the timer in and pulling it back out. this resets the motor and makes it turn backwards. it's a pain to do this because you have to keep an eye on the time. this will get you through until you change the timer.
