I think there are some disks with MP3 or other sorts of audiofiles.
If the radio does not support these it wil skip it.
If you set it random, the system will search for files it can play.

My AVIC-F900BT was stuck on one channel and wouldn't change. There was no sound. Radio head detected Satelitte system, but no buttons worked. Found on the internet a solution that worked for me. I disconnnect the battery terminals for 5 minutes and then connected them. When the system rebooted, the Sirius radio worked fine. I'm posting this hopeing it will help someone.
check behind radio for inline fuses . useually on red and yellow wire's . most likly blew one . or fried radio all together . most likely just fuse , thats why they are there
If you are refeing to the actual car fuses, you may have put too large of a fuse in and blown the radio's fuse. on most radios, there is a fuse that sits in the back of the radio. just pull out the radio and see if that is the problem
I have the same problem with my 49txi, and I called pioneer and a repair shop as well. Both told me that the 49txi has a known problem with over heating and that its boards unsolder themselves. I would have thought Pioneer would stand behind something this expensive, but that was the old Pioneer in the 80s, and the new Pioneer says we are on our own.
Static from radio only sometimes,Act's like a loose connection. You can thump on dash it stops. But it will come back. I have heard pioneer has had a recall on this anybody know about it. Oh it does not have a loose connection we have double and triple checked.
