This could be a faulty power cord, ie: two of the wires touching perhaps not visible to the eye. Or a short in the transformer or power supply. Check also internal fuse(s) if they have blown, suspect a faulty device in the power amp stage (on the heat sink) if they have gone too!

SOURCE: my numark x6 mixer does not work, it powers on, no output

Unless you can find someone local to fix it , you'll need to get something else
it's something internal broken and probably not an easy home fix

My numark tt1625 blew a fuse, have changed fuse ,but wou'nt turn on now,no red light, any ideas, thanks

Fuses blow when there's an overload. Mostly caused by a semi-conductor device that shorted out. If it's a transistor or diode it will be easy to spot with an Ohm meter as touching the terminals will be just like you have touched the two test probes together!

Magnavox 37MF437B/37 keeps blowing fuses

Either a short somewhere---which fuse? The one at the power cord or what?

Other possible reason is wrong fuse----many of the fuses in these sets are special-----if you go and buy some Generic ones--hardware store or Radio Shack the fuse even with same amperage/voltage rating may blow at turn on instantly for no reason------

Kmx02 wont turn on

Make sure the plug for the power cord is the same polarity and DC or AC for the mixer. Also make sure the inner diameter is correct for the station power jack as well.

As long as power from the supply is correct and adequate, theother potential sources of problems can be a blown internal fuse, broken power jack circuit tracks/traces, bad solder joints, dirty switch contacts, some contact cleaner sprayed in the gap of the switch toggle and then flipped rapidly for a number of times might clean it up.

Have a nearly 30-year old Akai stereo receiver AA-R30. Power light just stopped turning on. Opened up case and found main fuse between AC power cord and power transformer blown. When I replace the fuse,...

Look for shorted output transistors or possibly shorted rectifier diodes. An immediate fuse blowing up usually means that the power supply is the problem. Keep us posted.

Instantly blows the 5 amp fuse next to the power cord plug.

You have a short in the power supply. Look at the regulator and or rectifier diodes. These are all on th primary side of the SMPS (switched mode power supply) the secondary side if shorted shouldn't cause a blown fuse at all.
