There is an internal battery that you cannot change. When it goes out, the camera fails. There are several places online that you can send it to for repair
Page 109 of the manual lists possible causes such as battery chamber not latched, batteries not in right orientation, AC power adapter not properly connected, or after having batteries out and camera left unplugged for a long time and then plugging it in, you have not waited for a few minutes before turning it on. If the LCD screen will not come on, there is the possibility it is bad. If attention to these matters is unsuccessful, there well may be a hardware problem requiring a repair shop.
You need to look in your owner's manual to see if turning off the beeper is an option.
The beeper is very important to inform you when the bread is ready, when to add ingredients, or if there is a problem with the maker. I am not sure it can be turned off.

Generally, a Nikon AF body - lens needs something of contrast to focus on (i.e., the tux of a groom) and with a white wedding dress, the autofocus tends to go 'nuts.' You could pick a spot (a pew) to focus on and then turn AF off: during the walk-down-the-asle, just shoot when the person hits that spot. In a less-than-bright church, maybe your eyes and digital are not a prime match. You could return to a film camera -- the F100 does well in lower light.
Recently this happened to me just as I was walking in a church to shoot a wedding (major bummer). I had to rush and get my film backup for this. Anyway, this problem has ocurred with several examples of the S2 pro including mine, one other than mine that I know personally. The problem is the sensor. I quickly shipped to Fuji and they fixed the problem. I just got my camera back and so far it is working fine. Time will tell. I had to pay for the shipping only and turnaround was quick (1 week). By the way the camera was already out of warranty, but they gave a 3 month warranty after the repair.
