What model Cobra camera? What type and size memory card?

The lens motor is burnt out. Has to be replaced.

check menu options is reasonable and first solutions. maybe is stabilizer turned off and you got the message. read the camera manual carefully, there is described how to turn on and turn off stabilizer. in manual, troubleshooting chapter has many solutions for camera and try to find one for stabilizer.
if all this can't help you go to service, something is wrong with camera software.

A camera is for recording images onto film, not reading the film.

gently hold end of lense and twist and pull gently you may hear a click dont force it
turn off and on again and the problem should be solved

it wont open when power is turn on,i keep getting ,(camera has experienced an error)(please reset your camera)this number accompanies the message-00000018-4489-957-000,ive read the manuel nowhere does it say how to reset, help ?

Hi: You may want to try changing the aperature setting,or removing the lens,then re-installing the lens. Good luck.
