Which chat site were you using? The level of moderation depends on the site, some are very strict so any slightly undesirable content is banned

I will assume you are connected to the internet with a faster 'Broadband' connection on a decently functional computer that will allow a satisfactory web cam experience. Connect your camera to your computer and follow along below. The wires that came with it should fit snugly and look like they fit into one of the holes, rectangular peg into rectangular hole style.

I want you to press the Windows Key + R on your keyboard. My "Windows Key" is between my CTRL and ALT keys. So, to do that hold down the Windows Key while it is down also press down on the R key.

That should bring up the Run dialog. Type devmgmt.msc, press Enter, and then look for your webcam in the device list.

Are there any Yellow Bangs? (Bangs are ! marks. And a Yellow Bang is a ! in a yellow circle which is your computers way of saying "I don't know what to do with this thing!".)

If everything on the hardware side is okay, indicated by a lack of yellow bangs, then it is software.

I recommend Skype for conversations with people you know, it is a program that installs on your computer. ( Skype.com ) But you can try chatroulette ( www.chatroulette.com ) as a quick and dirty way to test your camera, it is a website that makes use of web cams. Be warned, chatroulette has a lot of teenage morons on it and you're bound to run into one sooner or later.

1. Make sure than no other Apps are using your iSight camera. Quit (not just close) all other apps that a running. There should be no 'lights' under any of the dock icons apart from your web browser and finder.
2. Reset safari settings. MenuBar: Safari---> Reset Safari

2. (If still not working) Update to the latest version of flash player (adobe.com). relaunch browser
3. (If still not working) Right click blank screen and choose 'flash settings', make sure you 'enable' webcam use.
4. (if still not working) try another browser (Chrome/Firefox)

It's realy weard.
I am going to try find a solution, normaly there should be no problems with [url=http://bazoocam.org/en/]chatroulette[/url], it should work with all existent systems !

The best way to overcome this problem is to re-install driver.

I had this same problem, its because the driver that comes along with the webcam is outdated. All you've gotta do is google "microsoft lifecam nx-6000 driver update", and you should be able to find a download link from the microsoft site. Once you install the new driver its all good
