Yes, you can buy a new hose from Dyson directly or you can research the part online - it is sold all over but is probably the cheapest if you buy it through Dyson directly. Call their helpline or order the hose from their website.

My Sonic Clean vacuum has no suction?

All questions need full make and model

https://www.google.com/search?q=sonic+clean+vacuum

They make a few models in upright and floor compacts. You have a blockage somewhere. When something is obstructing the flow, the motor is still trying to suck air. It has to go somewhere, so it blows instead. The blockage could be anywhere, but you mention brush rolls, so on an upright, remove the base plate and the brush and check the hole behind it. In a vacuum with a hose, check the hose itself and the motorized brush head, the same hole behind the brush.

If your vacuum's suction power has decrease with use, this is because 1) the filter bag needs to be changed and/or 2) the vacuum has a clog in the suction path. For clog removal instructions, please reference page 10 of your vacuum's user manual.

Bissell Bagless Upright Vacuum not working

If your Bissell upright vacuum cleaner is not cleaning like it did when it was new, then you need to provide a bit of maintenance or service. I will tell you how you can do this maintenance to your Bissell vacuum.

First, make sure that your floor vacuum is unplugged. Then you can work safely on your Bissell bagless vacuum.

If your Bissell upright vacuum is losing suction, then the next thing to check is the canister. It is very easy to simply forget to dump the canister.
The while you have the canister out, check the filter inside the canister to make sure that it is not plugged full of dirt. This filter can be difficult to access, but a little persistence will pay off. When you get the bottom of the cup open and remove the filter, use a bit of soapy water to wash out the filter. You can then reassemble the filter into the bottom of the canister.

On the left side of the vacuum there is also a HEPA filter Bissell has there to help filter the air even more. Remove that, clean it also and replace it.

The hose is the next thing to check. You can completely detach the hose from the vacuum. Check the hole at the bottom where the hose hooks up to make sure the hole is not plugged. Then stretch out the hose and run something like a coat hanger through it to make sure that there are no obstructions inside the hose. You should be able to hold the hose up to a light and see right through it.

The last thing to check is your Bissell vacuum belt. If the belt is too loose it will slip and not spin the brush properly. Bissell belts can be purchased online easily, or in many grocery stores. If your Bissell upright cleaner has a slipping belt, it may also be because of strings, carpet pieces, etc… getting wrapped around the brush. Remove the vacuum brush and cut off everything that is wrapped around it. Always be careful of the vacuum belt after you have just used your vacuum. The belt will be very hot just after use.

These steps will help you to get your Bissell upright vacuum cleaner working like new again.

Dyson 65 animal complete. The hose bunches at the bottom. It doesn't lay flush vertically like all the pictures show. Consequently, when I vacuum I can't pull the vacuum backwards.

Hi, it sounds like the hose may have been overstretched . Once its stretched just a bit to far it will not go back to its original shape. You may have to buy a replacement.

Dyson hose is broken how do I replace it

The colored pieces on the vacuum are latches. You can remove most parts. For the hose, you may have to remove the cannister to get to the latch through a hole in the main upright part of the vacuum. You can find parts with a search of the Internet. You will have to get the hose with both ends attached, but one source has it for $21.95.

I have a miele upright S7210 and can not find the replacement hose. Any ideas?

What do you mean by the replacement hose? The original part for your 7210 twist includes the handle grip to lock in to the adjustable wand, or do you mean the short hose in the base behind the brush roll?

My upright kenmore progressive vacuum will not suction up when using the sweeper. It will suction things when I use one of the tools. I have put in a new bag and have tried to see if anything is blocking...

I believe on the front top part of the vacuum is a cover. you need to take it off. behind it you will find at least two filters. You will need to replace the hepa filter and the other one should be like a thin black sponge, you can just wash that one.
If its not that then there are two clips on either side of the base of the vacuum. Pull those clips outwards, then lift the top off, you will see the tube that the hose attaches to. Pull the hose off and check for debris in there.
I hope that works for you.

good luck

Dyson DC 18 Model won't stand upright on it's own

If it won't pop back into the cradle that holds it in standing position, take off the entire hose and check for long items such as pens and pencils.

Suction loss when handle is tipped back to clean carpet

can any one help,
Our Dyson Animal vacuum has plenty of suction when it is upright and the attachments are being used off the hose, but when the handle is tipped back to begin cleaning carpets the beater head is getting no suction. As the handle is being tipped back you can hear what sounds like a flapper valve in the body of the vacuum opening and then all the suction just goes away.
