Sony fd trinitron wega 32 inch

Yes my sony is shutting off over and over again. The stand by light is blinking 5 times then pauses and blinks 5 more times. Is there a solution a simple person can fix or will it need some repair work from a professional? thanks

when turning on my tv the pciture cuts in and out for about 5 munites before it stays on. I also noticed my standby power light is blinkg 5 times then stopa and then starts blinking the same pattern again.

mine just won't even turn on anymore. yesterday it was fine, today nothing, and yes, I checked that it is still plugged into the wall.

Please count light flashing again. Light flash time is "0.3 Sec" and there would be pause (light Off time) for "3 Sec". Start counting after pause to next pause.
