Locking keys I am interested in the walkman phone, but I have a concern that I"ve had in the past with previous exposed keys. I had a Samsung a777 and whenever I had it in my pocket, it would accidentally answer a silent phone call, if something in my pocket (or me) hit it. Since the call button on the sony ericsson w580i is exposed and it would be in my pocket when I'm running, will the same problem happen as it did with the samsung?

the w850i can only be unlocked by calling ur network provider and requesting an unlock code, for 3 they will charge the existing amount of ur contract is left, also the original owner will have to call, for vodafone if u call i think they offer it for £20 not sure though.

turn phone off, insert micro sd card in - logo side up and reboot. worked for me. i experienced the same problem.

SECOND! No install. It just runs.

Take your phone, turn it off. Start this program and click on connect. You'll have 30 seconds to plug your phone into your computer and HOLD C The entire time! (the delete button or 2). If connected, then click at the button: GDFS. There will be a phone lock reset to "0000". Click it. It will take no more than 45 seconds. I promise. Unplug your phone, and vuala! If your phone won't turn on, try pulling out the battery, putting it back and trying again. This program is also good for flashing phones, and putting flash menues on your phone. Also unlocking it and debranding it. GOOD LUCK!
