If you are running vista this solution will help

This fix will work for all of the VEO Stingray problems because it gives a good driver download site and it tells you step by step how to get your cam to work with VISTA Good Luck and let me know if this fixed your problems.

1.Go to this site and download the driver you need: http://www.softsci.com/veodrivers.htm

2.Download it to your desktop

3. Don't unzip, install, or plug in your cam yet

4.Search for this in your start menu: Program Compatibility Wizard

5. Of the three choices click the one that says look for the program manually

6. Choose the option for XP

7. Choose the 680 x 420 or whatever it is not the 256 colors

8. Choose to run as administrator

9. Click next and it should change your screen to a real big resolution and then it will start to install the driver

10. Go through the install wizard

11. After it has loaded plug in your camera

12. Try a program that it is supposed to work with

13. Finish the Compatibility Wizard

now everything should work for your cam.
This works with all of your programs that vista will not run.

Laptop wont start up desktop asks for system disc

Your hard drive has become corrupted. If it's windows try putting in the operating system cd and doing a repair install. Alternatively you could go into the repair console and see if it's teh Master Boot Record simply needing to be repaired.

Here is an example of repair install step by step:

http://michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm

Of course I would read through the whole thing before attempting this. If you do not know how to do any of this I suggest taking it to a local repair shop.

My computer is working slowly. And got hang many times while running.I also have already scan my computer.

Hi

For some reason computer getting slower because of faulty driver installed, multiple driver with the same driver installed, faulty installed software.

I suggest you run your laptop on safe mode to correct the faulty drivers and it will automatically fix it and also run the disk defragment on your C drive. Just go to start menu, choose accessories, system tools, choose disk defragment and after it restart your computer again. It will run faster that before.

I have a diamondmax plus 8 40 gb HDD that I am trying to install in a Dell computer. The drive that came with the machine is a diamondmax plus 8 30 GB HDD. I have tried two different XP install disks and I...

If you get that error when you are at the screen for selecting a partition in windows XP, then if you have the hard-drive as master, the cable is correctly hooked up, your drive needs to be erased, reformatted.
There is a few ways of doing this, first way is to wipe the disk clean, I use a program called disk wipe you can get it here:http://www.diskwipe.org/download/DiskWipe.exe, use this to wipe the disk clean, usually the boot information would be on the first part of the drive, so you can run a quick wipe, i usually just wipe the first 3 or 4 gigs. After that you can use windows XP again, you shouldn't need a driver for the hard-drive, but if you do, windows will give you that option, then proceed to new install, and to the partition area, the drive should show up, if it does, then you need to delete that partition, create a new partition, and reformat that partition, then click next to continue the install or follow instructions to install that os.
The other way is to hook the drive up to the same computer or another computer as a second drive, where you have windows installed on the first. Then in windows go to computer select that drive right click on it and it will say format, click format, and select quick format, then ok to format the drive, if at this stage you still don't see the drive, then you have to go to control panel, administrative tools, disk management and the drive should be visible, you should then be able to right click where it says disk o or disk 1 which ever disk, if you only have one disk hooked up then you'll see it, it is probably offline so you need to click on line, or make active, once you do that, you can right click on the hard-drive next to where it says disk, and select format which should now be allowed, format it, and then it will show up as a drive under my computer, once it does, you can then install windows on it without any problems.knoppteria4.jpg Once it is formatted it will say healthy system. The reason hard-drive is not being recognized is because it isn't formatted correctly, the above always fixed this issue, unless the hard-drive is defective, which is the other reason, and one other reason is that when windows ask for 3rd party drivers you might need the driver for that disk which when it ask for 3rd party drivers, you would put the driver in, from a disk or another drive. Hope this help's, i have ran into this issue hundreds of times, some on my own disk, it happens, but is most of the time easy correct. Also as a tip make sure your bios is set properly for that drive, and that in your bios you can see the drive before you install windows.

BOOTMGR is missing with windows 7 after recovery disk was tried with not completing. It gave me an erroe code 0xe0ef000e

Hi there, possible reason for this is that windows is not successfully installed. try to run the recovery cd again and if same thing happened then there is something wrong with your recovery disk. thanks!

Disk wont spin

The lens assembly is directly associated with a non spinning disk issue.

Here was my situation.

I purchased a used PS2 slim from an ebay seller that had the disk read error. I bought another lens from another ebay seller and when installed it, the disk would not spin. I then replaced the new lens assembly with my old one and the disk started spinning again but I still had the disk read error. I contacted the seller to send me a replacement lens assembly for the defective one I received.

Bottom line is if your lens assembly is bad, the disk will not spin. You can replace the lens assembly for about $4 or $5 on ebay.

This mostly occurs to all slimline PS2 it is a common problem.

Software work to slow and it shot down

Software Installation : Installing more and more software can make the computer slow down. The reasons for that are that installation of a software will make entries in registry and that is somewhat bad. The software may be running in the startup. The software will install various files on the computer and an overloaded hard disk makes the computer slow.
Free up disk space : Try to keep your hard disk space free. You’ll always notice that a computer with free space on hard disk will always run much faster than the one which is loaded with extra stuff.
* Remove Unwanted Items From Startup : Well, if you’ll remove the unwanted softwares from the startup then your computer will boot up much faster and the memory (RAM) will also remain free and thus that will again result in better computing experience
Run hard disk maintenance utilities : Always run the utilities like Disk Defragmentation or Disk checking utilities regularly, around once in 2 weeks
Run Registry Cleaner : Right, this one is related to first tip. In case you’ve already installed and uninstalled various softwares before reading this tutorial then you can go ahead and run various registry cleaning softwares

Error when try to print from computer

Check what the error message is? Normally this problem comes if the printer is installed and either has not been calibrated or has one or more driver files corrupted.Try to tighten all the wires again. Than uninstall and reinstall. And try to use any disk cleanup utility before reinstalling because some times it can have previous corrupted files in the disk. you can use windows disk cleanup utility.

1. CLEAN THE LASER. ALWAYS DO THIS FIRST. MOST TIMES THIS IS ALL YOU NEED TO GET YOUR SYSTEM BACK RUNNING A 100% AGAIN

2. IF THE LASER CLEANING DON'T WORK ON YOUR PS2 SYSTEM PERFORMANCE THEN TRY ADJUSTING THE LASER VOTAGE.

3. IF THE LASER VOTAGE DON'T WORK YOU NEED TO REPLACE THE LASER
