My Samsung LN-T4665F 46" LCD has been occasionally showing red dots randomly spread across the screen. When turning the TV off and then back on the problem is eliminated. The TV also has been having trouble powering on. Just a blank screen even though the blue indicator on the bottom is on. It takes 30-40 seconds to finally power on at times.
Please check the power supply board, if there is any Pup-Up electrolytic capacitors, please replace them.

The set is under a year old and is under warranty. The LVDS cable inside these sets have a history of coming loose. The problem could be the panel. Either way, the set is the problem and needs to be looked at. This set is worked on in the home and does not need to be taken to a shop, so, you can still use it.
