Coffee grounds "overflow", get grounds

The problem is the spring on the Sneak a cup feature is too strong and pushes the basket up thus shutting the valve off and causing overflow.Just pop that thing right off! Problem solved! Works like a charm 100% of the time no matter what type/grade of filters and even if you get 2 stuck together......."Sneak a Cup"? Some things in life are worth the wait!

It is not making coffee, it is making "brown water" basically with no coffee flavor

Definitely there is something wrong.

Possible solutions:

1. Check filter.
2. Check holes for hot water, they might be clogged. Hot water supposed to be distributed evenly on the coffee surface.

I assume you use the proper coffee and proper water/coffee proportion.
Good luck!

Water coming from machine when brewing coffee water looks like coffee, brown in color and appears to be coming from brew group area. i have a saeco odea go machine. well maintained

there is excess water that comes from the injector when the brew group disinguages it. make sure the path is clear of coffee grounds in such. Some other things to check are the conditions of thr o-rings there are to 2 on thr injector inside the machine and one on the brew group if there damaged at all they will leak.

Bits in my coffee

Hi
If you are using pre-ground and you have ground it for espresso, that too fine and that is why you are getting specks. It should be ground to the size of sugar granules.

Grounds splash from basket into carafe

My brother has a Bunn that does the same. I think the coffee filters he is using are too short. If you think this might be the problem too, try an internet search for Bunn coffee filters. Hope this helps!
