I can't sign in my yahoo messenger

Few sugesstions :
1) Uninstall your current YM, restart your pc/laptop, then try installing a new one. Link : a) http://www.mydigitallife.info/yahoo-messenger-10-final-full-version-offline-standalone-setup-installer-download/ b) http://www.geckoandfly.com/6309/download-yahoo-messenger-10-full-offline-installer-15-8mb/
2) If it does not work, try check if your windows is installing new updates, sometimes YM does crash when window is updating. If you are using Win7, then just go to: --> Control panel/ System & security/ Windows Update/ Change setting
In the setting panel, you will see "Important Updates" box selection. Change it to "Check for updates but let me choose whether to download & install them". Restart your pc/laptop, then try log in to your YM.
3) If it still crash, then your internet connection might be the problem, & also, Yahoo! can be down sometimes too.

MY LAPTOP WENT OFF DURING UPDATES NOW IT WONT FINISH LOADING, it comes up update 3 of 3 then restarts and says same again keeps doing it not letting me in to lap top anymore seems stuck on updates

Hold F8 while booting to go into safe mode, or last known good configuration. Then, preform the update from there, and that should fix your problem.

No power on will shutdown

Hello

First of all press ALT+CTRL+DEL and start Task Manager, there is probably some application (or other process) that is not reponding. You can kill them to let the shutdown continue, and know what is causing the problem and maybe find an update for it.

Also this means that your computer has not been rebooted properly since the installation of important system updates. If you have "Automatic Updates" scheduled on your machine, these updates could have downloaded and installed without your knowledge. To fix this issue, let the updates finish installing, reboot and then shut down your computer as normal.

Click "Start."

Click "Windows Update." Click "Install Updates" to begin the installation of any updates that have been downloaded to your Compaq Presario. When the "Restart Now" button becomes available, click it once. Your Compaq Presario will shut down Windows, finish installing the updates and then reboot your computer.

Click "Shut Down." Because the updates have finished installing and have been installed properly, your Compaq Presario will now shut down normally and will not immediately boot back up.

My hp laptop dosn't move in configuring 3 of 3 - 0%complete,and then it just switch of and on,and comes back to configuring 3 of 3 k 0% complete

Vista Update Stage 3 Stall……

You see Installing Updates Stage 3 of 3... 0% in Vista after you start or restart your computer and it never goes past 0%. Rebooting the computer doesn't change it. It still boots to Installing Windows updates 3 of 3 and never goes past that 0% mark. Sometimes Windows will even reboot in some cases. I have found that this often happens after Windows updates. I have no idea why, but this seems to be a fairly common occurrence. The last one I repaired was caused by a Service pack 1 installation.

Here's what I have done to fix the 3 of 3 error.

You will be doing a System Restore from the Vista f8 startup

Since the computer your working on is probably stuck on this screen the first step will be a hard shut down.

Hold the power button down until the computer shuts down.

Restart the computer.

Tap the f8 key about once or twice per second to get the Safe mode screen to come up.

In Windows Vista there is a new choice when the safe mode selection comes up. "Repair Your Computer"

Highlight the "Repair Your Computer" choice.

Windows will act like it is going t boot up.

You will see a System Recovery Options window.

It will ask you to choose your language.

Click Next

Select your user and put in your password. (leave blank if you don't have a password)

You should now have choices and the one you want is "System Restore"

Follow through the prompts with the Vista System Restore program.

Remember you should pick a restore point that is 1 or 2 points back.

Once you have completed the system restore process you will be asked to restart your computer. Go ahead and restart the computer. It should start correctly at this point. If you don't have a restore point available you may not be able to repair this error. I have not tried to repair one of these without a restore point yet.

Configuring updates dont stop

I'll assume last known good configuration didn't work, if you press f8 and choose disable automatic restart on failure, you should see the blue screen of death with more info, when you reboot the next time,(you may have to hold in power button for 5 secs), press f8 and see if Repair my computer is listed on the Microsoft Startup menu, if not, insert a windows vista disk and restart, booting to the cd(should happen automatically, but look for a prompt to press a key) choose your language, then choose repair my computer, choose the windows installation, and you can try to use system restore to go back before the uodates were installed and updated, then disable automatic updating so it doesn't repeat.

Difital media reader

Hello,

If you have made sure that all cables are correctly connected. Then I would try shutting down the computer and wait abou 5-10 seconds and then restart.

If that doesnt correct it, I would check to make sure that it is installed correctly in the Device Manager.

To do this, click Start > Run > type devmgmt.msc and press Enter. This will open Device Manager. Once there look for items with a yellow ! beside them. These are items that are not installed correctly.

If you see any yellow ! I would suggest trying Windows Update to check for drivers. To do this, open Internet Explorer then click Tools > Windows Update. Once it lloads you will have the option of Express or Custom. Choose Custom. Your machine will be scanned for updates. You will need to scan through the Critical, Software, Hardware updates on the left and make sure that all of them are selected and then choose Review/Install updates at the top of the screen. This will start the download and installation process of the updates. You will probably be prompted to restart after the updates finish.

Thanks

Acer Aspire 5630

Seems like your VISTA upgrade didn't sucessfully upgrade itself from XP to VISTA. Seems like M$ update program detects your OS as XP and tries to install the SP3 for XP. VISTA only has SP1 released. Its currently stuck in a loop that it doesn't know what to do. Restart your laptop into safe mode by pressing F8 before the VISTA loading page comes up and go to Safe mode and backup your data and use the ACER RESTORE CD OR ACER RESTORE METHOD to help you reload your system back to factory defaults then upgrade back to vista without install any updates or connecting it to the internet.

This is my best solution to get you out of this weird and unusual situation.
