Which model do you have? For the AEG Competence B9820, you toggle the Child Lock on and off by pressing and holding the Selection Clock and - buttons simultaneously until the Child Lock changes state. Please add a comment with the model number for direction specific to your oven. I will attempt to determine if there is a different combination to enable or disable the child lock feature. Note: at least one AEG microwave/grill uses Press "Micro+Grill" once. Then press "Clear/Stop" 5 times to toggle the child lock on and off.

you have to switch quickly 3 times beetween off and light on position.

Can you identify the model of the oven you need help with or anything like that? Not all child locks on ovens are configured to function or be utilized the same way.

Can you check Enr and repost, model number is not recognised

Press {Stop/reset} button 3 times to unlock the unit. Or un-plug it for a little while. To put the unit into child lock press the start button 3 times.

This is an safety features that prevents unwanted oven operation by children.

To set child lock...
Touch and hold STOP/CLEAR or 0,START until LOCKED appears in the display and two beeps are heard. If the time of day was already set, the time of day will return to the display windows. After you touch another.

If the CHILD LOCK was already set and you touched another cooking pad, the word LOCKED shows in the display.
Then you can cancel the CHILD LOCK according the below procedure...
Touch and hold STOP/CLEAR or 0,START pad until LOCKED disappears in the display.

Aftes the CHILD LOCK is turned off, the time of day will return to the display window. The oven will operate normally.

So, you should have a "-s-" being displayed if you have the child lock on.
The switch for selecting the oven mode( oven, fan oven, grill etc)
-from its off position, turn it one click left so the light comes on, and then click it back to off. Do this three times in quick succession. The "-s-" should now have disappeared and you can use your oven again.
