Question about Logitech QuickCam Fusion 961403-0403 Webcam
I've installed the Logitech QuickCam Fusion software exactly as directed. I made sure not to attach the USB cord until the software was installed.
Everything works fine. I open the program, but it keeps telling me that my camera isn't connected when it obviously is. My computer seems to be detecting it fine...that little noise comes on whenever I plug the USB in, but the QuickCam program itself isn't detecting it. It keeps telling me to make sure it's securely attached and all that.
I think it may have something to do with the fact that I'm running it on the Vista OS, but the manual and box clearly say it is Vista compatible.
I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it. Doesn't work. I've also rebooted my computer cleanly. Doesn't work.
Have you tried instlling the 10.5 drivers instead of the 10.0 which comes with the retail box?

All the reviews that say the logitech fusion cams don't run on mac's are just plain wrong. I just bought the camera and plugged it into my powerpc G4, started skype and ichat and it worked instantly.
no drivers or downloads needed. I'm running OS X 10.4.11
