I rang telecom and told them that my phone keeps displaying [service required. please call Telecom for assistance.]
and they suggested to type in ##726100#
and then do my MDL or somthing num in and other stuff but my phone keeps displaying that message.
What they are telling you to do is, reprogram your phone, to do this they have given you the SPC code. Dial ##726100# and a menu should appear, the select edit, enter your ten digit wireless number, press ok, then enter it again and press ok, select save and or exit/reset to complete the process. Your phone should power cycle, thus after a restart the unit should no longer read [Service Required] on the other hand if that does not work for you please reply to this suggestion and request my email address and I will arrange with you to have your unit repaired as I repair Sanyo phones myself. I'm having the same problem on a US sprint phone. It usually fixes itself after being powered off for a few hours, but not this time.
