Powering up the printer whilst holding the tick/menu button takes you to service menus/diagnostics and is perfectly normal. Suggest you dont HOLD buttons down for excessive time and instead just press and let go. this should work better for you!

try to check your cartridges. Pull it out one at a time then try to see it it stop blinking. Especially cartridges that was refilled. Improper refilling of cartridges causes them to stop responding to your printer and causes to malfunction. this was base from my experience.

SOURCE: Hello! My P2015n shows paper-jam (orange

Hi,

I am sorry to hear regarding the trouble.

This model has already been in limelight for so many wrong reasons. I feel that consumers are being ripped off, as this is a common problem and HP is aware of the same.To do a Cold Reset:
1. Turn off the printer.
2. Press and hold the Go button.
3. Turn the printer on, and continue to hold the Go button for at least 5 seconds, but not longer
than 15 seconds. During this process, the Attention LED turns on.
4. Release the Go button.

To do an NVRAM Reset:
CAUTION Only perform the following procedure if absolutely necessary. Performing an
NVRAM initialization resets some parameters that cannot be restored later.
NVRAM initialization sets all default variables stored in NVRAM back to factory default values or to a
default ROM value, depending on the variable. It also performs a system reset.
NVRAM initialization resets the following:
? All menu settings to factory default values
? Factory settings such as formatter number, page counts, and factory paper settings
Use the following procedure to perform an NVRAM initialization.
1. Turn the printer off.
2. Press and hold down the Go button.
3. Turn the printer on, and continue to hold the Go button for at least 20 seconds. During this
process, the Go button, Attention, and Ready LEDs each turn on.
4. Release the Go button.
The printer lights begin cycling. After the NVRAM initialization is complete, the printer returns to the
ready state.

If this would not work, this would confirm faulty formatter / motherboard. HP is aware of the same and only on few occasions this could be rectified using the cold reset. It has already affected around 20% of the P2015's and they would charge around $250 to get it repaired. Most of the people have also contacted attorney general of their state for the complaint.

I wish i could have a better solution.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

When the adapter is paired the LED will be solid blue. See Figure 7.
receiversolid.jpg
Figure 7
The adapter may continue to blink red/blue for a few seconds even after the headphones LED starting blinking blue. This is normal; the adapter may take a few additional seconds before the LED turn solid blue.
Once the headphones and the adapter are paired, it is not necessary to pair them again even if the batteries on both units are completely drained.
Additional Note: Repeated pairing will not improve the sound quality or give the headphones and the adapter a cleaner connection.
