Canon sx10is does not power on after changing the battery door. new batteries worked fine prior

The battery terminals may be corroded or oily. Try cleaning them as best you can with a pencil eraser, or better yet with an ink eraser.

Wait - this is after replacing the battery DOOR? Did the door come with the proper terminals, exactly identical to the old door?

Each time I power on my canon SX120 IS, I need to set date and time. Why doesn't the camera save the settings?

Either you're in a time warp in an alternate universe (highly unlikely) or you need to press ok/set twice after entering the date and time.

How to get the date time stamp in Sony DSC T99?

Hi,

Welcome to Fixya. I'm sorry to inform you that SONY DSC T99 doesn't have the features of superimposing dates on the images. However, by using the "PMB" in the CD-Rom that was included in the package, you can print or save images with the date.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for using Fixya,

Canon sx10is solution disc download wont work on 64 bit hp pc

Please see the following blog article, as it describes the use of a card reader as a much easier, faster, and less error prone way to download your photos. In fact there are several important reasons discussed in the article for using a card reader vice downloading from the camera. USB Card readers are also very inexpensive these day, with cost virtually not an issue:
