Alba code help

I have a alba aelkdvdd2288pk tv the control for it broke went to argos and they suggested this urc1625 control would work!!! tried all the codes and nothing works tried manual search still nothing did a manual search with the sat button only part of the control works even tho not properly eg if i push up button comes up with number 7 :/ will this remote work with just the tv function as have no digibox in my room just an ariel lead connected to tv from digibox downstairs plz someone help me find a code to sort it out its frustrating me now arrgghhhh

The player has failed, it is not a product that is really repaired due to the low cost of a new one, I would just buy a stand alone player and right this off.

I eventually found that Alba products are a brand name owned by Sainsbury's and presently are exclusivley sold by Argos stores in the United Kingdom.

I also found on the Argos web site

there is a link to manuals for Alba products near the bottom of the page with the link cited above: Need Product Support?

However, I did not find the user's manual for your model of Alba portable CD player there.

Therefore, I suggest you make a telephone call to Alba Technical Support and ask about the availability of a manual for your model. This is the phone number in the U.K.:

Alba tv remote has stopped working
hi had the same problem with alba 42" (l42m1) spoke to customer services at argos who suggested holding down menu button for 10 seconds then pressing menu again, which aparantly resets remote with tv. Has worked for me, hope it works for you.

Magnavox zv427mg9 DVD/VCR combo plays approx.3 seconds of video then ejects tape. This has happened once before, I cleaned the heads/drum and it worked fine. It happened again and I've cleaned it multiple times nothing. So someone said a belt replacement, is that a good first start? Thank you guys. Edit: it has low hours on it, and the picture/audio work those 3 seconds. I've tried other tapes.
