So am I to assume that this is a 3.0L V6 vehicle? Does the engine run OK or does it exhibit a rough idle and poor performance? When you say 123 misfire.. do you mean it had codes P0301, P0302,& P0303 in the pcm codes? If these codes are still there and the engine is running poorly, then you still have a misfire on these cylinders.. it may have not been ignition related. Fuel problems and compression problems can also contribute to a misfire. You may need to take vehicle to a reputable shop and have it diagnosed by them.
error code 123 is a flame rod sensor problem. Chances are the flame rod is sending a weak signal to the control unit. Check for a loose flame rod electrical connector. Peek in the flame inspection windows to ensure there is a proper flame on that side of the burner. If non of the above then try removing the flame rod and cleaning with 400 grit sandpaper or replace it with part order # SKC7448 (called an Ignition plug ELV & Packing EHK SETV)
jusr solved this off an article. the *,#,123 thing only gets you a r0046 support answer no sytem configuration menu, so.........hit cancel the hold down canel, ok black and color buttons at teh same time, error message continues, keep holding all 4 and the power off with on botton, let sit for a few seconds, my have to restart a few times but maintenaince is done and volla-fit it. up your hp-let keep em honest. andy fecteau

you will see a button with [/123] in the upper part of the control panel, press the button and on the lCD screen will appear (counter) press the left arrow next to the LCD screen until on the LCD screen appear [sprache] or [language] оr [langue] this depend on which language is current when this will appear press the OK button and select the lenguage which you want to use by pressing the OK button. To exit this mode press the [/123] button.
there may be some dust particles entered into your phone that may be the reason for some of the buttons not working properly especially joystick .......if you have tool kit using it open your phone and using cloth try to clean the board .......if you are not confident of opening better take to near by service center to get your problem solved
Not sure of the method but this worked for me. I have a c6180 & I did the *# 123 to get to ink initialization status, Hit OK and did not confirm.Turned off the printer, it did not turn off. So i unplugged it then plugged it back holding cancel OK & power for about 20 seconds. It then started normal.
