Pandigital DPF80-2 where can I get a replacement power adapter?

Perhaps the power adapter is bad or not connecting to charge it.

The power adapters are for sale online, but unsure if you would want to purchase from the United State or the United Kingdom or Canada online.

Most of the Pandigital tablets use the power adapter APR001 which provides 5V at 2A. This is available from Geeks.com here: http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=APR001 . Other vendors may also have the adapter.

If you need to replace the jack where the adapter connects, try Radio Shack or http://www.mcmelectronics.com . You need to measure the existing jack dimensions carefully. (This ensures that the adapter will connect properly.) When you desolder the old jack and solder in the new one, make sure that you keep the polarity the same. (Otherwise the adapter may not work.)

Hello,connect it to a computer using its USB cord and it should charge.

It's a 9 volt, 2 amp power supply.

1) Try different wall outlets.

2) Turn the dial on the frame both ways to make sure the backlight brightness is not turned all the way down.

3) Test the AC adapter with a voltmeter.

If the adapter does not work, replace with one of the same voltage and amperage.

If the adapter does work, grab your receipt and go back to store or call the company.

Take the AC adapter to a Radio Shack and have the voltage tested. If it's bad, replace it. If it works, proceed to next step.

Take out any external memory from the frame. Connect to your PC and it will appear as a removable drive named "Pandigital". Format this drive.

If this does not solve the problem, your LCD is going bad. You can't fix this. Find your receipt and call the company if you're still under warranty.
