Playstation zapped tv

My son zapped the tv when he plugged in the Playstation.  Now we get no picture, just green, blue, red, with some lines across the screen.  Tried to align the lights in the menu, but that did not work.  Tried to adjust manually, but the tv just shut down.  Now it won't stay on for more than two minutes.  Guess I shounld not have done that.  Please help!

Letters and numbers are 3d and curved picture

Hello

red, green, and blue lines curve across the top of tv is cause by defective convergence STK IC or you have open resistor at convergence section. if you have defective RGB Color vertical ramp probably you have defective STK IC..

I have a Sanyo HD TV and my Playstation 2 has the red white and yellow jacks but when I plug them in I get no color. If I move them to the bottom red jack and the top green and blue jacks it works but...

the red and the white cables are the left and right sound

the yellow one is the only one sending a picture signal

plug it into the video in...which should be yellow on that tv, the green and blue jacks are for another type of video connection

Green/Blue distorted Colors

Color issues are harder to solve without seeing the problem. It sound like the red amplifier on the crt board is bad. Is there any red in the picture at all? If not, that will be you problem

Colors off. blue and yellow not lined up

try to set the convergance if you cant you can adjust the color tubes from inside the tv but have to be very careful to do this. There is actually only 3 colors in the tv red, blue green so I would say your blue and green need lined up

What kind of connections are you using?

If component (red, green, blue) double check to make sure they are seated properly. I'm thinking it sounds like the blue one got loose.
