Here is a manual

You need a special microphone cable and maybe an adapter if you have a 1/4 plug going into 1/8 inlet. These can be found at any music store.

Microphone wire jack replacement

While you could solder something up, why not just get an adapter to take the single 3.5mm 3 conductor to two 3.5 plugs, One Ear and the other mic. Should work if I understood the application correctly.

My microphone jack is jammed because one of my microphones broke off. I bought a new mic and now it will not fit in. Is it possible to use my blue "Line-in" jack as a mic jack?

You can try it but I don't think it will work.
I think the power levels are different.

Are you sure you can't get the broken stub of the old connector out with a small pair of pliers or something?

I suppose the sound card is built onto your motherboard.
You could disable it on the bios and get sound card to go into one of your interface slots. They are not very expensive. Just make sure you get one that matches one of your free slots.

I have an old but functional yamaha PSR 31 keyboard. I am not sure of the size of the jack required for headphones. Help would be much appreciated

hi there headphone jacks usually only come in 2 sizes, an obviously large one or a small one, (the headphone and the microphone jacks on your computer will be the small ones) if you have a favorite set of phones with a small jack and you need the large one you can buy an adapter that fits the large jack when you plug the small one in. good luck

Microphone for my YAMAHA HTR-5440

Let me make this clear to you that your Yamaha does not support Microphone but the trick is you can still do it. All you need is a stereo jack to a RCA connector cable.Check this out http://www.mediacollege.com/audio/connection/jack-stereo-rca-2.html It is easily available in the market. The stereo jack will fit into your microphone and the RCA to your Amplifier/Reciever. Plug the RCA into CD/Tape input but not in the Phono n do your thing. Let me know if this works, coz I'm really curious.

Jack for the external microphone

There is an error in the MobilePro 900 manual (Pages 2-2 and 2-3). The jack on the front of the MobilePro 900 is a stereo headphone jack only. The MobilePro 900 has a built in microphone. There is no jack for attaching an external microphone.
