Mistubishi WS-65813 problem: one day I tried to turn the TV on and all I've got just the green blinking light. It won't reset. It has been three days and it's still blinking.

I saw there were some suggestions how to fix it this type of model. Is there anyone who could give the detail description of how to do it yourself. It cost $500.00 to get the repair man to fix the problem ( my friend got it fixed).

I have exact same problem as pilot2's report, same model, purchased in early 2004 (mfg Nov 2003). I've had no repairs or service and no bulb replacements. Occassionally, sleep time would turn TV off even though we didn't set it. Now green light blinks constantly, but no power to TV.

I have a WS 65869 with the same problem. This occured after we had a power outage. The green light blinks and the TV won't turn on. I have left it unplugged and tried again but no power. I also tried the reset button. That didn't work either. I live in a small town with no help with in 150 miles.

I bought the mitsubishi black diamond gray 65819 is under warranty and had same problem , turns off like after 2seconds ,it can be fixed people but u need a sears tech, I had one come out and was told they no longer can get the part ,but he had to take it to repair it and yes its was a steal for me ,depending where u live the cost for me would have been $350 for part,$200 labor its the board that the power cord is connected to in tv... I live in s.a. texas , the unit that set up the service is 9905 ,the repair unit is just down the street from them off culebra so if u get a tech says cant repair it this one does, its helpful to u if u have it under the warranty or protection agreement

My mitsubishi tv W55613 won't turn on. green light keeps blinking even after resetting

Hit the front of the tv near the blinking light... give it a good rap or two. See if this helps. Helped mine. I had the same problem and the tech who came out to the house told me that it would work and it did! I could hardly believe it but it worked.

Hi,
If the led light flashes green continuously, the fault came from the DM power supply. The faulty parts there are the electrolytic capacitors. Let me know if your handy with electronics and I will assist you to fix it yourself.

I have a Mitsubishi WD-62525 HDTV that suddenly wont turn on. Just has a green blinking light when you hit the power button. Any ideas?

I found this on another website, most likely it is your power supply capacitors.
  1. Press the "reset" button and hold for 10 seconds .... Does TV turn on and blinking green light turn to solid green.

  2. Unplug the TV from it's power source for various times, ranging between 5 minutes and 24 hours..... Does blinking green light continue upon plugging in the TV.

  3. Disconnect ALL devices from the TV; DVD, Tuner, Cable Box, unplug the TV for various duration times .... Does blinking green light continues upon plugging in the TV.

  4. Press Power and Menu buttons simultaneously and hold depressed for 20 seconds .... Does blinking green light continue to flash.

  5. Press Power and Display buttons simultaneously and hold depressed for 20 seconds .... Does blinking green light continue to flash.

  6. Insure that no front panel buttons are inadvertently stuck in an "engaged" position.

Diagnosis: If none of the above test resolve the issue, then the failure lies in one of the following:

  1. DM Module Capacitors have FAILED.
  2. DM Module is defective.
  3. EEPROM Board failure
  4. Power Supply failure.

Blinking is a trouble code. Try unpluging for a longer time then hold power button in when pluging back in to try and reset.

The timer light green blinking all the time

You most likely have some bad capacitors on the dm board, unfortunately the board is not available for this set, the complete chassis has to be sent in to Mitsubishi to be rebuilt.

Continuosly blinking green light and tv won't turn on.

Either bad capacitors -vented - on power supply board or bad E2P eprom board on DM board.Probably the capacitors-4-1000Ufd and 2-3300ufd.You should get expert help from reputable tv shop. Not really do it yourself fix either way.

Timer light blinks on and off and tv wont turn on

Resetting the TV
If the buttons on the remote AND the buttons on the TV case do not work (channels do not change and you cannot open or navigate the menu), the TV has stopped responding. Reset the TV as follows:

NOTE:
Some TVs have a reset button. If available and accessible, try using the reset buttons before using the steps below. Using the reset buttons can save time.
1. Unplug the TV power cord from the power outlet.
2. Unplug any connected devices (DVD, Set-top boxes, etc...)
3. Press and hold the TV power button for five seconds.
4. Plug the TV power cord back into the power outlet and turn on the TV.
5. Open the on-screen menu to confirm that the TV is responding again.
6. Turn off the TV and reconnect the devices.
7. Turn on the TV.
If ever resetting is no effect then the problem is in the "DM board"
The constant blinking green light means that the TV is not booting up. This is a common problem on this set. Hope it may help you; Regards, VOTIT
