Green lines screen horizontal v26I have green horizontal bars across the whole screen when I turn on the TV. I replaced the Bulb and also replaced the capacitors with the Kit for the 5 circuit boards. When the TV goes on it has a good picture although it will show green outlines around whatever is on the screen, and they go in and out; otherwise the picture would be very good. I can't seem to find out why it will all of a sudden start up with the green bars, and you can't get anything on the screen, menu, etc. Sometimes it's just audio with no picture. Please tell me you can help! Thanks

sounds like bad capacitors on the FMT board need replacing that is a common fault with the first generation DLPs There are 3 bad capacitors.

Keep talking to the factory, it is their product. Best Buy won't replace unless it is deemed not repairable and/or terms of the contract. You purchased the extra warranty because you most have felt that the TV might break down. Well, it did, now use the contract to repair your TV.

try to look at its circuit board and look for some cold solder

The green CRT's (color picutre tube or color wheel, or ballast) will need to be tested for replacement.
It is quite common with these tv's

You will need an ohmmeter and or voltmeter and test each component for currency and accuracy
