Completly remove speaker cover untill you can see the electronics. there will be a box with 6 setting screws. on the bottom row of screws , look for the screw with the letter r under it . verry verry slowly turn that screw counter clock wise untill the picture clears up . good luck

you have lost your red and blue color guns, usually all three guns are driven from one card, but somtime there are individual cards (circuit board cards) depending on the age and value of your tv you may want to have a repair man give you an estimate. These days many tv's are not cost effective to have fixed and its best just to replace them.
Hi, It still convergence chip problem, check big resistors nearby these chips that would be open or devalued and causing problem, specially in green convergence area, your green tube/ gun is just fine and just not getting convergence output signal to show correct image. I would suggest to download service manual copy of this tv for small fee from any website and fix the issue with schematics help. Thanks.
If you are asking about Guns in rear projection tv then answer is No. Rear projection TV has 3 Guns (CRTs), red-green and blue and each gun has its unique color phosphorus coating to produce its mono color (red /green /blue) and these are not interchangeable. Need further info, let me know.
It sounds like the red gun is off. Your tv uses three guns(red, green and blue) to make the picture. sometimes one of these guns shifts a little and the colors get messed up and there are shadows because the gun is still trying to make the image, it just doesnt line up. This is a pretty inexpensive problem that can be fixed by most any tv technician for a small fee. If your pretty confident in your electronics know how, google adjusting guns and your tv and that should yield something.
Your green gun in our tv is misagligned/out of focus. Your tv uses red, green and blue guns that layer in different shades and mix to create the different colors. Your green is a little off so the colors aren't mixing right which explains the green haze and the shadows. A tv repair man can fix this problem pretty easily and it isnt expenisve.
Pls do not jump to hasty conclusions! 'Electron guns'do not break!
It could be a simple problem like a faulty CRT base! Or perhaps the Blue Output Transistor is faulty!
First ask a good technician to have a look.
If he confirms that the Blue Cathode is faulty, then I advise that you get a new set.
