Day before was working fine went to play last night and the console will not even come on even after swithing plug in and everything.

You could send it to www.videogame911.com. They do good repairs on the Xbox and are pretty cheap.

Check your downstream speed via the router control panel 192.168.0.1 if there is no speed there is no internet

Make sure the switch on the 360 A/V cable is in the right position. Also unplug everything from the unit and plug it all back in again.
From the reading I've done on tech issues the 360 has a lot of temporary issues like that.

Maybe Your A/V cord went bad maybe you should try buying a new one

Unplug everything! There is a "breaker" in the power supply and it may need to be reset. Just unplug all cables from the TV and outlets. Let it sit for a couple hours then plug everything back in and it should work fine. If not then the power supply has shorted out due to a strong power surge. First things first. We'll start from the beginning. Unplug the AC Adapter from the wall and from the Wii. Let it sit for 15 minutes. Then plug it back in. 9 times out of 10 your power supply needs to be reset. The only way to reset it is to unplug it from the wall and the wii and let it sit for 15 min. Try this first and report back if it worked. Even if you think you have done this already do it again.

• adjust brightness setting when playing tv.
• adjust screen control located on flyback transformer.
