Having a good wireless connection, does not mean you have an internet connection. Go into the router and click on status and see if you have an internet connection active on the router. You can click on setup in there and start again for settin g up your internet connection, you will need the username and password giving to you by your Internet Service Provider when you originally signed up with them
Yes, you need to install the driver of the dlink wireless adapter for it to work. and remember after you reinstall the driver make sure you know the settin of your wireless connection.what i am referin to is if you have a secure wireless connection you need to know the Network name and the password also knwon as Network Key
you can access the router's wireless settins so that you can check the wireless password or the network key for you to connect your iphone to the internet
Here's what you need to do.
1. You need to open up your router's setup page ( 192.168.1.1 or whichever applies).
2. Go to the Wireless tab on the black bar on top of the setup page
3. On the Basic Wireless Settins page, set your Wireless SSID Broadcast to Enable.
4. Click on Save settings , then click on Continue.
All PS3s have internal WiFi. All you need to use it, is have your internet hooked up to a router with wireless capabilities, or if your modem already is equipped with WiFi, then you're set. Go to your system setting and set up your wireless using the onscreen instructions.
Goto Network Connections >> Right Click on the wireless icon >> Properties >> Select IPv4(or IP for XP) >> Click on Properties >> Now see from your friend's system(in the same way) if here the details entered MATCH. The DNS entry shud match here.
you can try changing channels (1,11,9) or relocating the devices, you may also need to check obstructions or interference like cordless phone running on 2.4GHZ. because even if you change the advanced settings, (I just dont know if this router has an option to change the optimal range but you can check the advanced wireless setting under wireless tab on your router setup page) it may not work.
