Mr.Coffee maker (quite new) won't make coffee

My Mr.Coffee maker is only about two months old, but it's now quit making coffee. I have power (the clock works and the "on" light comes on, when I press it) but nothing happens. No sounds, nothing warms up,nohting at all: it just sits there looking at me. I did try cleaning it out, in case something was clogging it, but that didn't make any difference. Any ideas? Thanks! Kate

This is still under warranty, I would return for a new one. You could also call number in manual, they will probably replace it.

Does the bottom pad get warm? If not it maybe a relay on the control board or most likely the element is bad. You can change this out but it is probably more cost effective to just purchase a new one.

call for a technician to check the problem of your coffee maker, maybe there are connection of wire inside that has damage

When I turn the switch the lights come on but nothing else happen
Depending on how old your unit is and the availability of replacement parts I would suggest looking into a new coffee maker. The control panel is malfunctioning and by the time you spend on replacing just that part you could pay for a new one. They're quite affordable now.

My stainless steel Mr. Coffee maker just quit perking coffee and the water does not run totally through. It has been perking slower and less quantity but today I cleaned it by running vinegar through it...
this is set up on a conventional mr coffee; if the hot plate is not as hot, it will not work, on the newer ones, a small chip could be getting hot, and like a car, it will either shut down or work part time. send it back to mr coffee, and they'll repair it, but it might be cheaper to replace it.

Mr. Coffee FTX23 quit brewing. Was working ok yesterday, won't brew today. Recently cleaned with vinegar. Clock, lights all work. Seems to have always leaked.
The heating element burned out, its a common problem. Mr. Coffee tend to leak, I've had several of them.

Maker clicks on, but doesn't perk or heat the plate.
Unlike older coffee makers, the new Mr. Coffee designs seem to have reliability issues in regard to their circuit boards/controllers. You are right in your thoughts. If the unit is under warranty, I would suggest returning it for a replacement. E-mail your concerns directly to the company.

BTW--there are no user serviceable items within your coffee maker.

my suggestion is spend some good money on a coffee pot or get a french press and a hot pot. those mr. coffee and sunbeams are nothing but trouble from my experience.
