First page prints properly and it happens randomly when half of a page skips or offsets (only prints half of the page) and then goes back to printing properly again. It's happening when printing duplex from a AR document.

You need to replace the fuser. What is occuring is the teflon coating on the heat roller is worn and picking up some of the image off of the page and repeating it in a ghose like fashion.
Not a difficult replacement.
SOURCE: intermitent fuzzy printing
Most Likely its oil from the drum, has migrated to the encoder.
Call a service center, they have to clean the encoder, and If the problem comes back... then the drum assy needs replacing.
I've seen this problem many times...
Hope that helps.
SOURCE: Xerox 6350 prints ghost page every page printed.
If the ghost is black then you might have a bad Black Developer 116-2011-00
If the ghost is in all colors then it may be your fuser, or possibly just your paper settings. (If you are using glossy paper or card stock this needs to be fed from the MPT tray and defined correctly in the control panel)
Good luck!

SOURCE: PDF documents do not print completely on my Xerox Phaser 8500
I am having the same problem. Sometimes my Xerox Phaser 8500 prints a PDF or web page fine, and other times I get pages and pages of what looks like PostScript code. I thought I had installed the most recent printer drivers, We are using primarily Macs with OS 10.4 or 10.5. One recent change is that we connected the printer to an Airport Express using a USB cable, which is sweet when it works correctly....any ideas???
