Which key should I use to run report Sam4s er5115ii

The X Key gives you a breakdown at any time of day and can be done as many times a day or a period that you like. All the totals remain. I did this in my bar when the day shift left and the night shift started. I replaced the cash drawer with a new float.

When you do the Z Reading, it gives you one last report and then zeros all the daily totals, and advances the Z read totals by one, and also leaves a cumulative Cash total to prevent *****.

How to void a completed transaction after the fact on a PCR-T2300?

Sorry, just saw this question so I know it's a late answer. The register has been told that the customer has those items so the only way they could give those items back is by a refund, so you use the refund button. You press RF before each item and you do the sale again exactly the same as before. The RF button will turn each item in the sale into a negative and return them back into stock to keep your daily report correct. (there will be a refund count on the report but this is unavoidable since the register has to log it to avoid *****. The main totals will be correct). Some models have an RF position on the keyswitch which saves you having to press the RF button before each item but I don't like it because staff forget to turn the key back and then allllllllll of your days sales are refunds and that makes a lot of re-entries at end of day to fix it. Hope this helps anyone else with the same issue

What does the CH2 key mean on a cash register

It is payment method CHARGE2. It is a way to pay for the sale (like cash, credit card, etc) so you could use it for any payment you like. For example, you could press it at end of sale when someone pays by Visa card. When you print end of day report, you will see a total for CH2 and you know that is the total paid by Visa that day

You enter a report code on most registers and it will allow you to print many types of reports. Most instructions are here:

How do i get manager reading on my er a330

I think you mean your end-of-day money totals:
Turn the key to X1/Z1
Touch the decimal point, then the CA/AT/NS (CAsh, Amount Tendered, No Sale) button - or maybe it's just CA/AT on the -A330.
It will print out a Z reading: the day's sales totals and clear them back to zero, except the Grand Totals at the top of the tape.
If you skip the decimal point it will print an X reading: the same tape, but will not clear the totals, so they can continue building. You can print an X tape several times a day if you're curious about sales, so far, without messing up anything.
I talk about Z totals as a daily total, but they accumulate for as long as you let them, before taking a Z reading. It is only a daily report as long as you take it daily, as most business owners do.

Is there anyway to perform an end of day after the fact? I have several employess that close at the end of the day. I have them perform a

Judy,
If you know when your last end-of-day report was run (look at top of report), you can run end-of-day reports for each day by adjusting the computer's clock.
Example: It is Friday, and your last report was run Monday at 11PM. Adjust date/time to Tuesday at 11PM and run end-of-day. Then adjust date/time to Wednesday at 11PM and run end-of-day. Don't forget to set clock correctly or sales will be entered at the wrong date/time.

How do you Z out a 435dx

"Z" (Prints End-of-Day Management Reports and Resets Totals) - Prints the "Z" management report at the end-of-the-day and resets totals to zero (except "locked-in" grand total).
To print Management Reports, slide the control switch to the "X" or "Z" position as needed, then press the [amt tend/TOTAL] key. Refer to explanation starting on page 37.
"X" AND "Z" SALES MANAGEMENT REPORTS
__________________________________________________________________
Transaction data is maintained in the memory of the cash register as long as the battery back-up system is in effect. This data can be printed as a report for management review.
The Management Report can be printed from either the "X" or the "Z" position on the Control Switch.
"X" POSITION REPORT (Refers to a mid-day reading)
The "X" position report prints the accumulated information and RETAINS ALL TOTALS IN MEMORY. Use this position to print periodic readings of transaction information at any time through-out the day. (Some users call the X-report a mid-day report).
"Z" POSITION REPORT (Refers to an end-of-day or close-out reading)
The "Z" position report prints the same information as the "X" report. However, once this report is printed, ALL TRANSACTION TOTALS ARE RESET TO ZERO except the Grand Total. (Some users call the Z-report an end-of-day report).
NOTE: To prevent accidental printing of the "Z" report, set the security code as explained in the SECURITY CODE section.
Once this code is set, a "Z" report will not print until the security code is entered. If a "Z" report is attempted without entering the security code, the prompt "SEC Code" will appear in the display.

PRINTING THE SALES REPORT
IMPORTANT: Once a "Z" reading is taken, it cannot be duplicated, so be sure to have plenty of paper in the register.
1. Set the Control Switch to either the "X" or "Z" position.
2. Press the [amt tend/TOTAL] key.
NOTE: If a security code has been assigned, be sure to enter the security code before pressing the [amt tend/TOTAL]
key.
TO CLEAR THE GRAND TOTAL:
1. Set the Control Switch to the "prg" (Program Mode) position.
2. Type [2], type [0], then press [RA].
After this operation, the grand total resets to zero.

Grand Total Clear z/1 z/2

Hi. On most machines, the Grand total is non resettable and is just ignored if you don't want to track the total sales of the machine long-term. It should not affect the daily totals. The rest of the report should reset at the end of the day. If you don't see CASH totals and departments etc returning to zero, then there is another problem. If you still want to try to stop the GT on the reports, tell me the brand and model number and I'll see if it can be forced from the report.
