Re: Dust behind the Screen
You can open the screen cover of your v3. if you have screws drivers thats fits the screws you can open it.
to open it, at the screen of your v3, theirs a 4 little rubbers. remove the rubber (be sure to secure it cause when it drops you have a hardtime finding it) and beneath it are the screws. after talking it off, you can now open the screen. just locate the clips to separate the screen.
no need to open the other side only the screen part...

you can get in touch with motorolla for replacement or find one online .. the motorola razr is not sold through att anymore and is being discontinued through alot of carriers..good luck finding another one more of your options are goin to be online though .. motorolla's # is 800-331-6456 800-657-7576 (Windows Mobile Support)
Shoels, You could replace the screen and glass lens/cover but I having done this procedure a few times, don't think it's worth it as the Razr is a fragile phone and the case's just snap fit together. There are cell phone repair shops (depending where you are located) that will replace both the screen and glass cover for a fee. I personally would just look for a shady spot to view my display in daylight, as the V3 isn't worth the trouble/expense to repair (in my humble opinion of course). Good luck
Hi, before sending it in or taking it to a
Motorola repair station, try this. Open phone turn it over so camera is facing you with finger behind and thumb of your right hand sweeze the area between camera lens and the vol up down button to reseat the ribbon connector that is located in that area between the cases. This worked for me and it is worth trying.
if you look on the side of your phone you will see a whole on each side toward the front of your LCD. This is where the dirt is getting in. The best way's to cover them are a snap over protective case(there is a billion online for cheap) or a shuttle case. Otherwise email me at [email protected] and I can give you a guide to cleaning out the entire phone. This should be left to a professional but the last case I ran into got charged almost seventy bucks for something my company does for $5. It can be done by beginners but BE CAREFULL,
