You will need to get two items. first, a prewired toggle switch, and a 4" wire. attach one end of the toggle switch to the pink wire on the dvd player. next, attach the other end to the e-brake. now this will work when the brake is up.
attach the 3" wire from the brake to where the brake makes connection to the plate. this will trick the monitor into thinking the brake is always up.
if that doesn't work, try grounding it to another piece of metal near the e-brake

XDVD700 Car DVD Player: I'M TRYING TO FIND BYPASS CODE?...

You do not need a bypass code. Pull out the stereo unit, take the parking brake wire and disconnect it from the parking brake sensor ground. Reconnect it to the radios ground wire and this will tell it that the vehicle is always in park and your videos will work while driving. It must be the stereos ground not just grounded to the frame or something. Must be a live source ground wire.

I have a xdvd700 dual and want to bypass the brake thing but no remote is there anyother way?

Usually there is a handbrake connection that needs to be grounded to the chassis in order to bypass the screen lock. I normally wire it though a switch to ground and back to the handbrake, so if the car is inspected it works like it should.

Some units feature a footbrake wire that needs to be pulsed as well. This is harder to override. I use a bypass device from Peripheral called the PAC-TR7.

How do i bypass the emergency brake wire on a dual xdvd700

Its illegal to do but i have done it! You have to connect the brake wire to either the pos or neg wire! You need to find out which one it is thou, so attatch it to the negative first so you dont cause any damage if it doesnt work then connect it to the pos wire and it should work a treat for ya! I stress connect to neg first!!!!!!!!!!

Usually the wire should be grounded. Connect the wire to a ground point via a switch (is illegal to watch TV/DVD while you're driving)
