Dewalt DW911 jobsite radio
Got mine open.
There was a fuse inside - Replaceable - fixed the problem.
There were no hidden screws, none under stickers or in the battery box like suggested by others, and the 2 magic release screws not so. There are several deep screws requiring a long philips, but the entire seam is glued (why?) so to open the radio I had to hit the body near the seam with a rubber hammer to crack the seam loose once all the screws were removed, comes right apart. Put it back together without glue, just the screws, it will be fine.

NO POWER INTERNAL FUSE OK
Plug in the power lead. Do you hear a single click sound? Remove the eight screws holding on the back. Check fuses. Some time the fuse blows for no reason other times there is a fault. If fuses are OK the check there is power going out of the power transformer (Thin wires). It should be 15 Volts AC. Be carefull as there is Mains power with exposed tracks on the circuit board. Here in New Zealand our mains is 230Volts so it has a good 'bite' for the unwary. I had no Volts coming out of the transformer so I unsoldered the transformer leads. Make sure you unplug the mains first ! Checking with a tester revealed an open transformer winding on the Mains side (Big thick wires). Replaced the transformer from another DW911 and away she went. All go.
I have the same problem exactly ! "open transformer" and I need a replacement but not sure what the output is susposed to be .
