The Flashlight icon appears on the display when the flashlight is on.if this didnt not turn off the flash, then try the hard reset remove the batteries and leave for about 5mins, then back
I had the same problem with my girlfriends 6111. I managed to fix the phone, but i did have to open it up myself and get a new ribbon cable to replace the damanged one. Basically one of the springs had been pushed the wrong way and this was acting like a scissor action on the ribbon cable for the screen. It cuts part of the cable so no image can be seen but power is still sent, thats why it only powers up white. Doing this yourself will void the warrenty but the warrenty on this phone had expired and i was being quoted £35-£40 to get it fixed. I managed to do it for a fraction of the cost!!!
